    A panoramic view of the short-lived Culver City Speedway. The track, which was only open from 1924 to 1927, was a banked board track near the corner of what are now Culver Boulevard and Overland Avenue. The image is taken from the grandstands, facing the infield where there are hundreds of people and numerous automobiles. Most of the cars are parked in the lot on the far left. Writing in white at bottom of image reads "Speedway Culver City, Calif. Dec. 14 - 1924". There is a stamp to the right of that text which reads "Pettit's Studio ; commercial photographers ; 1416 W.
