Tickets were sold for one dollar, and orders were to be addressed to "Jules Mackron, Hughesville, Penn." Print describes the method of drawing, lists the prize money amounts, and includes background on the history of the drawing. Multiple typography fonts are used throughout the print.

The scheme on the print lists totals of "76,076 prizes, amounting to $578,557," and the print advertises tickets selling for $10. The venders of the lottery drawing are Bowers Wilkins & Co., and Wood, Eddy & Co. are the managers. The broadside is surrounded by a decorative border with intricate scrollwork.

    Image of a leaflet created by Wood, Eddy, & Co. to advertise the sale of lottery tickets for a drawing taking place on May 26th, 1860 in Wilmington, Delaware, and Augusta, Georgia. Print was folded, with four printed pages total, two on verso and two on recto. Recto includes information about ticket prices and the May 26th drawing’s gifts and prizes, as well as information about the May 19th drawing. Verso includes information about gifts and prizes drawn at additional lotteries in May. Also included are columns of text describing the difference between single number lotteries and three number lotteries. A brief note from the company is included describing how the company became successors to the previous lottery firm Gregory & Maury. Numerous font styles and sizes are used on titles throughout the leaflet, and images of hands are shown pointing at total grand capital prizes of various drawings.

    Image of a leaflet, originally folded, advertising tickets for sale by E. Fox & Co. for the Louisiana State Lottery drawn on July 11th, 1893 in New Orleans, Louisiana. Recto includes a chart listing the number of gifts and amount of money awarded in the drawing. Verso is two folded pages, printed in blue, the left page includes prize and date information for the Louisiana and Mexican Lotteries, and the right page includes information about drawings held January through June. Image on the left page includes a decorative title reading, “Nearly a million dollars distributed by us last year; this year we will distribute more than a million dollars in prizes.” Below the title is an image of a woman shown holding up a coin while surrounded by piles of coins and bundles of cash. The right page of the leaflet shows images of seven scrolls of paper with text about the drawings and months overlayed on the scrolls. The scrolls are all tied to one another with a string that is tied with two tassels. Decorative scrollwork is shown vertically across the scrolls of paper.
