The church with two spires on the far left is St. Joseph's Church, a Gothic structure at the corner of 12th and Los Angeles that burned down in 1983. Most of the buildings in the foreground are two-level houses, apartments, and businesses. A panoramic view of the campus of the University of California, Los Angeles, and the adjacent Bel Air Tract. There are a few houses or apartments on the left, beyond which is the Bel Air Country Club golf course and a small lake. The UCLA campus is in the center of the image, with the Men's and Women's Gymnasiums at the bottom of the hill, in front of Royce Hall and College Library (now Powell Library). There are numerous automobiles parked in front of the gymnasiums. Westwood Village is visible on the far right. Writing in white above the road in the center reads "Photo by ; C.C. A slightly elevated panoramic view of a football game at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum between Stanford University and the University of Southern California. The image was taken from the southwest corner of the stadium, facing northeast, and shows mostly filled seats, with a few sparsely populated sections at the far end. There is a block of people wearing white on each side of the field. The game is in progress, with the teams facing each other, not lined up to play, around the near 25 yard line. There is a slightly raised platform on the far right where several men are sitting and standing around a mounted camera. Writing in white in the bottom center reads "Stanford - 13 vs U.S.C. - 9 ; Nov. 17, 1925." Writing in white in the bottom left corner reads "No 686 ; C.C. Pierce & Co ; 1572 W. Pico, LA.."
